I enjoy working out at Contours. Their Jayamahal gym, where I've been a member for 2 years now, is calm, clean, airy and bright.
The circuit workout is deceptively simple: but it works for different training goals, from maintaining fitness to losing weight/size, and has progression built in. When I do their 29 min workout non-stop, I’m totally awash in sweat and don’t need to do anything else.

I've always found Contours' trainers genuinely friendly. While they are knowledgeable and offered advice whenever I needed it, they have also respected my space and have given me the non-judgemental flexibility to innovate and set my own pace, through my fitness ups and downs, through my aim to increase strength and rehabilitate post injury.

Best of all, Contours is very close to where I stay, so getting there and back is a breeze.

Lastly, but quite importantly, I find Chandra a constant beacon of inspiration!

"Contours changes the texture of my day and Life…"

Hey …I have never been really on good terms with the weighing machine;  always  had this love-hate relationship with it. Actually I have always been Fitness driven but freaked out about the hard work and perspiration which goes with it. Contours changed all of this! It has been such a wonderful and enriching Experience as a Contourian !  Just to be at Contours changes the texture of my day and Life… Just to be Exercising has NEVER been soooooo much FUN!

 

I now can actually get into my prized Possession …A Hemant Trivedi Gown which I bought 9 yrs back and wore it only ONCE for the Millennium New Year Party! Now I wear it again for the 1st anniversary party of the Thane branch of Contours ! With the efforts of all my trainers I have knocked off 10 kilos….whoooooo…that was too much with my kind of arthritic knees and stiff back. All credit goes to my Dear Friends Sakina’s strict DietPlan (with stricter orders). Anita’s Patient and mindful Workout Plan (with saucy sense of humor)  , Suman’s loving encouragement ….and to top it all … Chandra’s Remote Control and Love…

At the end of the Day …it’s Not really about losing weight…It is about getting myself back and feeling GOOD !

I went to Kodachadri Peak which is the 2nd highest peak in Karnataka and is about 6000 ft high. It was a 3 day trekking expedition done with breaks and in all we trekked for about 26 - 30 Kms!!! I have a knee pain issue because of which I had given up on trekking. The last time I trekked was when I was in college some 18 yrs ago. After being @ Contours for a month, I had built enough fitness and confidence to take this on. I feel enriched, fulfilled, energized and not at all my 40 yrs!!
